About A Strange Life

A Strange Life is a conceptual print magazine exploring the complex relationship between humans and technology in the modern world. This self-initiated project visually narrates our growing dependency on screens, digital personas, and artificial connection, drawing attention to the mental health impacts that stem from constant connectivity. Through stylized imagery and symbolic design elements, the magazine captures the tension between intimacy and isolation in a hyper-digital era.

Overview

I led the full print design direction, crafting a visual identity that supports the tone of the concept. This included:

  • Typography: Selected bold, modern typefaces to emphasize themes of disruption and distortion.

  • Imagery: Curated and art directed editorial photography that reflects themes of surveillance, identity fragmentation, and digital saturation.

  • Color Palette: Designed with a striking mix of red, black, and white to convey urgency, emotional tension, and contrast between human vulnerability and technological dominance.
